Vacancy: Program Manager Ivory Coast

Due to expansion of our West African portfolio we have a vacancy for a new position in Ivory Coast.

Program Manager (M/F)

Ivory Coast – Bouaké (50%) and Korhogo (50%)

Start preferably January 2018. Fixed-term contract full time, 40h/week (With probation period of 3 months) with possibility of permanent contract. Competitive salary related to background and experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic change-driver with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a talent for working across all levels of the agricultural supply chain to achieve the targeted results.

As program manager you will play a key role in our FairMatch Support programs, creating new business models that are more efficient and sustainable for all actors involved. You will be involved in bringing about transformative change in the national and international Agri and Food business.

Reporting directly to the director of FMS WA, the Program Manager will be responsible for:
• Prospecting and developing new opportunities in sustainable agricultural supply chains and partnerships;
• Planning project activities;
• Implementing projects, including monitoring and evaluation;
• Coaching and training local project partners, development of necessary training tools
• Reporting of project progress in financial and technical reports, on missions and in meetings

Professional profile:
• MSc in agronomy, economics or any other equivalent degree;
• Over 8 years’ experiences in sustainable supply chain development;
• Extensive network in the Agri and Food business sector;
• Act as a senior coach for the supply chain actors in a transition setting;
• Operate as a supporting leader in transition processes;
• Strong focus on the final goals, but flexible in how to get there;
• Pro-active and connecting to different people and levels easily;
• Operates comfortably in a dynamic international business and development environment;
• Proficiency of English and French / local language (Dioula) to be able to operate in an international environment
• IT skills: Experienced with and knowledge of office software (WORD, EXCEL, PPT); GANTT, MS PROJECT, Internet and social networks for professional use (Twitter, Facebook, Blog, website)
