FairMatch Support is implementing a new programme called the Pacific Growers Export Partnership, aimed at the development of innovative supply chains for coconut oil, cocoa and carbon credits from a number of Pacific Island countries; Papua New Guinea, Bougainville, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Fiji. The Pacific Island countries have been limited in their ability to play a role in the global economy due to their distance from the main markets, scattered nature and low population density. In each country a teamleading company is organizing the trade and the connections with the farmers. The programme is developing a 'virtual co-operative' in which the farmers are connected through mobile technology. The technical part is being developed in collaboration with Digicel/FlexPacific. It is an open source network with open information flows so all actors know price fluctuations in the markets.  Products are partly being sold at specialty markets and partly under a brand called Nui that is focusing on the story of the of the origin of the products; the Pacific. This programme is developed in close cooperation with African Pacific, an Australia based fair trade branding and trading company and the Dutch development agency ICCO.
